Hey everyone! I’m about to dive into The Witcher 3, and I’ve heard nothing but fantastic things about it. As a total newbie, I’m curious if it lives up to the hype. What should I focus on as I start? I’ve read that it’s easy to spend countless hours in it, which is perfect for me since I’m a fan of Assassin’s Creed. Any beginner tips or advice would be awesome!

Definitely prioritize side quests over the main storyline, especially if you’re at the right level. A lot of the best content and rewards are found in those side quests, plus they’ll help you level up and earn some sweet loot. And make sure you check out both DLCs, particularly Blood and Wine – it’s a must!
It’s also helpful to understand RPG mechanics in general. But honestly, just jump in and enjoy your adventure! Take your time exploring the world; it’s breathtaking and totally worth your time. Just have fun with it!
I’m starting tonight on my console! So far, I haven’t heard a single bad thing about it.
Don’t stress if everything doesn’t make sense in the first few hours. It took me a good 10 hours to really appreciate the game. Now, I can confidently say it’s the best game I’ve ever played!
Thanks! That’s really reassuring. I was curious how long it would take to feel fully immersed. I appreciate all the feedback!
Thanks for the tip! I’m just nervous about feeling overwhelmed with all the content. I’ve heard that it gets really good after the first few hours, though.
