I have been trying to make use of this weapon but it isnt really working out that well for me. Is there any point in investing raritanium into upgrading this weapon? Does it get much better after it has been upgraded?

This weapon does get pretty good once you have purchased some upgrades for it. I found it works best as a shotgun as the shield can often run out of energy fast and you dont get the chance to use it to shoot the bullets back at the enemies.
