I’ve noticed in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that the sleepwalking perk seems to activate way more often than I expected. Every time I wake up, I’m ending up miles away from my bed, like 3 for 3 times. Is this normal behavior for the perk, or is my game just glitched? Also, how do others handle the inconvenience of waking up so far from where you slept? It definitely changes how I approach the game.

I picked the sleepwalking perk right from the start, and honestly, I restarted my run and switched perks because it doesn’t seem to be a ‘chance’ at all — you literally wake up far away almost every single time. It can be really frustrating to deal with that kind of unpredictability.
Yeah, from what I’ve experienced, this perk doesn’t really make the game harder, but it sure messes with your routine. You end up constantly switching tasks just to get back to where you need to be, which can feel pretty chaotic. It definitely changes how you play since you can’t just plan everything easily.
For me, the sleepwalking perk feels pretty irrelevant because you don’t really need to sleep. I just use chamomile potions or alcohol to restore my energy and then either play through the night or pass time till morning. The back cracks thing just feels like an annoying throw-in with no real gameplay benefit. Turning off the sound effects helps make it less annoying though.
Honestly, it’s partly on you for picking that perk! From my experience with the first KCD, I knew it was a headache and avoided it. Waking up miles away instead of just nearby is brutal, but if you picked them all, then you kinda signed up for it. I’d say maybe the teleport distance or chance should be lowered to make it less punishing, like a 15-25% chance instead of always happening.
I agree, having it happen less often but still unpredictable would make it more fun rather than feeling like a chore every time you sleep.
Yeah, I grabbed all the perks so I’m just rolling with it. Still surprised by how far away I end up though—thought it’d be just within the same building or close by, not miles off. But hey, it adds some unexpected twists! Thanks for the input.
