I’m building my first PC and I’m considering using a Ryzen 7 9600X CPU paired with an RX 7800 XT GPU. Is this a solid combination or should I consider different options?

That combo is definitely a solid choice! Just keep in mind that your monitor’s refresh rate should be compatible with the resolution and frame rates you aim for with that setup.
