I’m trying to figure out if the RTX 5070 Non-Ti is better suited for 1080p gaming or if it can handle 1440p well too. Any thoughts on its performance in these resolutions?

The RTX 5070 can actually run some 4K games, though you might hit some limits with titles that need more than 12GB for max settings. In that case, reducing settings or using DLSS can help you out.
I’d say it’s more geared towards 1440p gaming. You can push it to 4K but it’s better with DLSS on for smoother performance, especially with older games.
Honestly, I think if you’re considering the RTX 5070, you might be better off with the 9070 XT instead. The performance just seems to be worth the extra cash in my experience!
Yeah, the 5070 might be in that $600-$700 range, whereas the 9070 XT is around $850-$900 right now. Seems like the 5070 could be the better deal.
Definitely 1440p, and it can handle some 4K with DLSS, particularly for older titles. So if you’re looking for 1440p, you should be in good shape!

Are the prices for the 9070 XT still hanging around $200 more than they should? I’ve seen the 5070 for a good bit cheaper.
