The ps plus collection is giving away a selection of some of the best games on PS4 to PS5 owners to use on their new console. Since these are PS4 games, is it going to be possible for people who already have PS Plus and a PS4 to access the games in this collection too?

I don’t believe it is possible. The collection is only available to PS5 owners. Likely as a way to give people more selection of games at launch. We don’t know a whole lot about it yet but I suspect If you own a ps5 and activate the games in the collection, you will also be able to play them on PS4. Although, if you own a ps5, why play on the older console. I’m sure we will find out more closer to launch.
