I’ve recently picked up Pokémon GO again, but I’m not sure how many people are still playing. I’ve been thinking it might be pointless to do raids alone since I don’t know anyone who’s still in the game. Any advice on finding players or communities I can connect with?

Definitely, a lot of people still play Pokémon GO! It really depends on your area, though. You might want to check out Niantic Campfire; it’s a great way to find local players and communities. Also, look for local groups on Reddit or Facebook dedicated to your town or city. Plus, with the upcoming GO Fest Global, it’s a perfect time to gather with others for raids!
Trust me, you’re not alone in wondering this! There are tons of players still going strong. There’s a Pokémon GO raid subreddit where you can join remote raids too, and the PokeGenie app is handy for coordinating raids and events.
I’m with you on that! Campfire is where it’s at for finding players nearby. I downloaded it and instantly connected with a group of over 300 folks. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend it!
Yeah, Campfire really helped me connect with local players. I found a huge group that meets regularly, it’s awesome!
