Hey everyone! I recently picked up the remastered version of Oblivion since I never played the original. So far, it’s been fun, but I’ve run into about eight bugs that are pretty game-breaking. One of them somehow fixed itself after three days of not playing. It looks great, but while playing, I’ve noticed some of these bugs were also in the original game when I looked them up. Currently, I can’t finish the Mage Guild Quest because of another bug. Did they really just improve the graphics, or were there other changes made?

They did tweak some of the perks associated with skills. For instance, in the original, you could only increase attributes for skills based on what you leveled up. So if you were heavily into sneak and archery, you’d be locked into increasing agility. In the remaster, that restriction is gone, so you can spread the love to other attributes more freely now. Also, the way merchant XP worked has changed up a bit.
Yeah, actually! They added a bunch of cut content back into the game, which includes more NPCs and some new locations. But it’s true that while the visuals got a facelift, plenty of bugs still linger. It’s pretty wild, right?
Can you not trash talk my comfort game like that? It’s seriously getting out of hand…
