Hey everyone! I’m a new player dipping my toes into solo RPGs and I’m curious about the value of the new RPG book bundle from Humble Bundle. I don’t have much experience with it or the series in question, so I’m wondering if this bundle is a good deal. Specifically, I’m referring to the Game Master’s Guide bundle. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks!

The $1 tier for this bundle is a steal! The higher tiers may have overlapping content, but if you find something that interests you in the other levels, it’s worth considering. Just make sure it fits your playstyle!
Humble Bundle usually has amazing deals on RPG stuff! If it’s for D&D 5e, you might find it useful, especially since they come with tons of tables which are handy when running games. You might want to check out reviews from YouTube as well before deciding. Oh, and don’t forget to adjust your donation to minimize Humble’s cut if you decide to grab it!
Good tip on the donation! I usually up it just to support, but want to keep more for charity.
Honestly, I love bundles like this because you get quality content at a great price. Even if you’re just a player now, these GM tools may come in handy later. I picked up a similar bundle recently and found it super valuable!
Same here! The books in these bundles can really spark your creativity for campaigns.
If you’re looking for great resources for DMing, the GM guidebooks can be worth it, especially if you’re into traditional RPGs. Make sure to see what style of play you like before purchasing too much. Iron Sworn is free and excellent for solo play, so you might want to check that out first!
I didn’t know Iron Sworn was free! I’ve been looking for a good solo RPG starter, thanks for the heads-up!
Exactly! I usually stick with the lower tiers unless something really catches my eye.
