I’m considering getting a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming laptop with an RTX 3050. My gaming is mostly on lower-end titles right now, but I’ve been running into issues with heavily modded versions of Terraria and Minecraft on my current setup. I’m particularly curious if this laptop can handle more demanding games like Satisfactory (currently, I can’t run it even on low settings) or Minecraft with shaders. My budget is capped at $800, and I also want to know if the RAM can be upgraded since the cheapest model I found only has 8GB.

Honestly, for an RTX 3050, I wouldn’t want to spend more than around $450. With your budget of $800, you should really be looking for something with an RTX 4060 instead. You’ll get way better performance for Your money!
I know this is a bit over your budget at $900, but I found a laptop that could be a game-changer for you. It would outperform the RTX 3050 significantly. Definitely worth considering if you can stretch your budget a little!
Good point! I just set the $800 limit for suggestions—I’m open to any recommendations!
