Hey everyone! I wanted to ask if the council meeting after rescuing Hans from Maleshov in the King’s Gambit quest has a time limit. There are so many tasks to tackle, like giving Rosa her book and completing side quests that disappear after the meeting. It can be frustrating because this quest doesn’t give you a heads-up like some others do about timing out. It feels like these quests can take ages to finish and take you on quite a journey!

Yep, this quest does have a time limit, but you’re given a decent amount of time. You can still do things like give Rosa her book before the meeting, but just keep in mind you have about 2 days. I found out the hard way after getting caught up in the Kuttenberg underground, but luckily I had a save to fall back on! It’s definitely a learning experience, so be quick but don’t stress too much!
I usually check if Henry can skip time or leave the area – if he says something like “no time to waste!” then you’re likely locked in until you finish. In this case, right after the first warning you get, Henry goes, “ugh, I better not forget about the assembly” even a full day later. It’s a bit nerve-wracking, honestly.
The council does have a limit, but it’s not super strict. Just keep an eye on the countdown since it can catch you off guard if you’re chilling in the middle of something else. Like I said earlier, two days should be enough to do a few quick tasks before heading over. Just don’t dawdle too long!
