Hey everyone! I wanted to bring up something that doesn’t seem to be in the spotlight lately. I’ve been playing some N64 games on the Switch 2, and I feel like the input delay has improved significantly. I had a really hard time with Ocarina of Time on the regular Switch because of the lag between my button presses and Link’s actions. Now, it feels much smoother. Can anyone else confirm if the input response has gotten better for other games too?

I’ve noticed improvements across the board too! The Switch 2’s graphics and performance enhancements make a huge difference. It feels like the older games are finally getting the love they deserve. No turning back now!
Absolutely! I’ve tested F-Zero X and Perfect Dark with the N64 controller, and the lag is way down. Even other collections like Mega Man have improved load times too. Just so much better overall! Glad we’re noticing these changes!
Totally agree with you! I noticed the same thing. It can’t just be in our heads, right? There’s definitely something off about how well these games are responding now. Feels great!
Honestly, I think the improvements are pretty clear. If we’re feeling it across the board, it’s likely a solid upgrade!
The input delay is definitely better now! I’ve had some great experiences playing Banjo Tooie where the controls felt way more responsive. There are a few games that still lag, but most of them are much smoother on the Switch 2.
Yeah, F-Zero GX could be a nightmare with lag! But I really felt the difference when I played Mega Man X4 again. No more random deaths from input lag during boss fights!
