Is the Herd Mentality serum bugged after the latest patch?

I’ve been trying out the Herd Mentality serum but can’t seem to see it listed under my effects after using it. I’m wondering if this is a new bug introduced with the latest patch. I’ve consumed about five of these serums and still no sign of the mutation! Anyone else facing this issue?

I had a similar issue! Turned out it was the Class Freak perk affecting me. While it reduces the stat penalty when not in a team, it still messes with the Herd Mentality serum. If you’re on your own, it might be diminishing the effect more than you realize. Makes a big difference when you’re in a group!

Before you drank the serum, did you remember to unequip Starched Genes? That perk not only keeps your existing mutations but also stops you from getting new ones. Plus, if you’re running with the Class Freak card, that might be impacting how Herd Mentality works too, especially when you’re not part of a team.
