Hey everyone! I’m new to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, just a few hours in and I’ve just accepted a job from the blacksmith for a wedding. I’m really enjoying the story and characters, but I can’t help but notice that the game feels pretty slow at times, especially with tasks like moving those five sacks at the tavern. Is this the usual pace of the game? If it’s consistently this slow, I might just watch a playthrough instead. I do appreciate the long dialogues though, they’re fun!

Don’t worry, the second half of the game really picks up! The first part is about building the atmosphere. There are only a handful of tasks like moving sacks throughout the game. Once you get better stats, combat becomes much easier to engage in. Stick with the blacksmith quest, you’ll dive into the action soon enough!
It’s not always this slow! I’ve played further and the sack-moving task is only a couple of times. Sometimes it feels slow, but there are moments where you can pick up the pace. The follow quests can be a drag, but overall, it’s not too bad.
Thanks for the insight, I’ll keep that in mind!
Hauling those sacks is actually a good way to level up your strength! So there’s definitely a purpose behind those chores. Just keep at it!
You’re right, that makes sense!
Yeah, it’s not a fast-paced game. I spent hours carrying meat across the map just to max out my strength! It does have intense moments that really hit hard emotionally, and that’s because the game takes time to tell its story. You’re playing as a blacksmith’s son, so it’s realistic that you have these chores to do. Just embrace the pace!
Good point, I appreciate the encouragement!
