With the Xbox Rog Ally launching this holiday, I’m curious if the Gamepass Friends and Family Plan will return. My partner and I are both excited to get the handheld but we also want to game on our consoles. I have most of our shared library, and without the Family Plan, I’m not sure how we’ll manage sharing our games. Does anyone have any updates on this?

Honestly, you might not need a separate plan! If you both have consoles, try game sharing. You can set up one as your home device and share from there!
It’s highly unlikely we’ll see that plan again anytime soon. Microsoft seems to be focusing on other subscription models instead.
Unfortunately, it seems like the Friends and Family Plan is pretty much done for. A lot of people were hopeful, but there hasn’t been any solid news on its return.
Did they ever actually roll it out? I remember they were testing it but then nothing came out of it.
Yeah, that would really suck for families trying to save on costs.
But if they have four devices in total, it could be a hassle. Only the home device will be able to play all the games.
