Hey everyone! I just finished Dragon Age: Veilguard, and I couldn’t help but notice how ridiculously long the ending felt. I mean, once you hit the final quest that seals your fate, there’s still about 4 hours of gameplay left! It felt like I was just battling through endless waves of enemies, and each fight dragged on for ages. All that hit-and-dodge gameplay got really tiring. Is this really how it’s supposed to be? How do others find this enjoyable?

I totally agree! I just wrapped it up yesterday and was really enjoying the game until those final hours. By the time I got to the end, it felt too much like running errands with companions rather than an epic conclusion. Plus, after the end, you’re just tossed back to before the ‘point of no return’? Major letdown there!
Honestly, it sounds like you haven’t played Cyberpunk 2077 if you think this is long! The ‘path of no return’ in that game felt like it lasted forever. But hey, at least the ending battle in Veilguard was epic!
Haha, I just finished it too and yeah, it definitely feels long! I can relate to the struggle with those prolonged battles. It seems like the game just keeps throwing combat areas at you for a while, which can really get old fast!
Exactly! It’s like, just let me finish and move on to my next game already!
Right? I’m all for epic finales, but this felt more like a chore in the end.
Yep! You lose your gear and levels, which is frustrating. What’s the point of that?
