Hey everyone! I’m interested in getting a 4070 Super and wondering if it’s capable enough for 1440p gaming. I plan to play at native resolution and I’d love to hear how this card handles current game titles. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews and videos, so I’m looking for some real user experiences!

I get around 120 fps in most AAA titles on high settings without ray tracing, and if I dial it back to medium, I can hit 150 fps. For competitive games, I’m well into the hundreds. Overall, it’s a solid GPU for 1440p gaming!
In my experience, the 4070 holds up just fine. I had it paired with an i7-11700 and even though I’m not chasing high fps, everything felt smooth. As long as you’re okay with adjusting some settings, you should be set!
That’s good to hear! I’m not too concerned about getting super high fps either; I prefer smooth gameplay. Thanks for the insight!
Using DLSS 4 on quality setting at 1440p looks nearly identical to native resolution, so you might find it beneficial in certain games. Just keep that in mind if you want to boost performance without sacrificing too much quality!
If you’re considering a 4070 Super, you might want to think about saving up for a 4080 instead. It’s definitely more capable for 1440p, although it might be pricier.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that the price difference is significant. I’ll see if I can find a more affordable 4080 option. Thanks for the tip!
