I’m curious about what everyone thinks regarding snapshotting in the game. Is it cheating, or is it just a normal part of gameplay? Let’s hear your thoughts!

Truthfully, snapshotting isn’t exactly a bug, but it does exploit some weaknesses in the game mechanics. While it might not be outright cheating, it feels a bit cheap. I think the developers designed these runes for specific situations, not permanent buffs throughout a skill’s duration.
A lot of players see snapshotting as a valid game mechanic. It’s been around for ages, but some argue it’s frustrating, especially when it leads to overpowered builds that seem to dominate the game.
Most of the time, I wouldn’t call it cheating. It’s just a tool players can use. That said, it does lead to some boring gameplay. I tried a cataclysm Druid and just found it wasn’t my style—felt too repetitive with the snapshotting.
I agree—it shouldn’t be a permanent boost for every hit, just when the skill is cast.
