I’m currently at Mastery Rank 9 and still making my way through the Star Chart. Most of my missions are low-level, and I’ve noticed that Silence isn’t often recommended for these types of missions. I’m curious about why that is. Should I consider subsuming it and replacing one of my Warframe’s abilities with it? Are there any scenarios where it could still come in handy?

I think Silence is beneficial in both high and low-level content. Sure, there are other abilities that clear rooms more efficiently, which is why most players suggest skipping it. But I believe it boils down to what suits your playstyle. It can stop Eximus units from casting—making encounters safer. Plus, if you step out of the silence radius, you can re-stun enemies by re-entering it. That’s a neat trick!
Silence can be super useful, especially because it disables enemy abilities. This is a big help when you’re facing Eximus units. It’s definitely more of a defensive play, though.
Yeah, I remember when people used the minimum range on Silence! It was pretty effective back then.
