I’ve recently jumped into the Resident Evil series, starting with Resident Evil 3, and I’m curious about going back to play Resident Evil 2. I’ve heard great things about the remake in terms of graphics, story, and atmosphere, especially with Ada Wong’s character. I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether it’s worth the investment or if I should consider other options instead.

Absolutely yes! I’ve played through the remake twice and it never gets old for me!
I just finished the Resident Evil 2 remake and loved it! I even moved on to RE3 afterward and prefer RE2 over it. If you enjoyed RE3, you’ll definitely love RE2—it’s an amazing experience!
To break it down simply:
– Ada’s role in RE2 is limited; she shines much more in RE4.
– All the Resident Evil remakes are solid, just be cautious with RE3—it’s not worth the full price.
– Each game offers a unique horror experience, which is more about suspense than being your typical shooter.
– The RE1 remake is classic but uses a different control scheme that might not appeal to everyone.
Super yes! I enjoyed it so much that I completed it two times already without getting bored. You won’t regret it!
