I’ve been playing Apex Legends since season 4 and hit diamond in season 19 after grinding hard. Now that I’ve returned, I’m finding it feels much easier to rank up again, even when I just casually play. Did something change in Apex that makes it easier to rank up now? Are there fewer players, or have I gotten lucky with teammates? Or maybe my new heirloom is giving me some kind of luck? Just curious if anyone else feels the same way.

I’ve also felt it. Even when solo queuing, I made it to Diamond quickly! Low ranks seem pretty forgiving, but once you hit Diamond 1, it can get challenging. Can definitely feel the difference in matchmaking compared to earlier in the season when a lot of good players are still climbing.
Or maybe you’re just improving your own skills! A lot of seasoned players are up in masters now, so the lower ranks could feel a bit lighter. The matchmaking definitely plays a role, especially late in the season when the good players are already ranked high.
That’s definitely a possibility! Maybe there’s some heirloom magic at play too.
Getting into Diamond was a breeze, but Masters? That’s pure hell. There’s definitely a curve where the game gets tougher. Maybe it’s just the luck of the draw with teammates. It’s all about the matchmaking and how it changes over time during the season.
I totally get that! I’ve been hovering around Diamond and it’s tough getting good teammates consistently.
I noticed that getting to diamond feels easier this season, but once I hit Diamond 4, the lobbies became brutal. The consolidation of servers made things much rougher. Solo queuing is a nightmare when you can’t find consistent teammates with mics.
Same here, it’s tough with randoms! I feel like I’m stuck between D3 and D4 despite trying my hardest.
Yeah, once you reach diamond, you start running into more cheaters and sweaty teams. It’s a mixed bag of wall hacks and questionable gameplay. Seems like the game gets easier late in the season since most of the pros and good players are already in masters. Could be that the crazy streamers and wannabe pros are filtering out, leaving behind a lot of casual players in diamond.
Haha, for real! Everyone seems to have wall hacks these days. Feels like I’m facing a wall of cheats every match.
True, it’s wild how the game feels once you’re in Diamond lobbies. Makes you wonder where all the skill goes!
Absolutely, it’s like the lower ranks are filled with people who don’t really have that competitive edge, making it easier to rank up.
