Hey everyone! I just came back to Elder Scrolls Online after a long break and was excited to dive into some PvP to mix things up. However, I’m having a tough time finding any action. I’ve tried joining Battlegrounds several times at various times of the day, but not a single pop-up after hours of waiting on different characters. In Cyrodiil, I’ve hardly encountered anyone actually working on objectives; mostly, I see players just sitting around in fortresses or no one at all on the roads. The chat is pretty quiet too. Over in the Imperial City, it feels like a PvE zone with occasional ganking, but that’s not really what I’m looking for. Also, the Group Finder is completely empty for PvP posts. So, is PvP really dead on the Xbox EU server, or is there something I’m missing? Do Battlegrounds only open up for max-level players? It seems like Cyrodiil is deserted too, and it used to be so busy!

Yeah, it’s kinda dead lately. Even during peak events like Midyear Mayhem, you might only see a handful of players on. It seems like there’s a core group of about 100 folks who fight regularly, but that’s about it.
It’s not dead, trust me! Evenings on Xbox EU still see some activity. It can get pretty packed, but during the day, it can be a bit sparse. Maybe try a few evenings to see if you have better luck.
I was out in the Imperial City for hours during a peak time and only saw one enemy. What’s up with that?
