I’m curious if playing as an assassin on Master difficulty in the game is actually a good idea. Are the sneak attack bonuses enough to deal with the hefty health pools of enemies? My plan is to use a bow early on and switch to daggers later, along with illusion spells like invisibility for role-playing purposes. Just to note, I’m avoiding quests from the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood with my battlemage!

While sneak attacks alone might not cut it at Master difficulty, you can really enhance your gameplay with poisons. They’re unaffected by difficulty levels, so even basic poisons can be super effective if used right.
Absolutely! Once you get stronger bows, it becomes way more manageable. In the beginning, I had to rely on melee and blocking while leveling up, but later on, I was able to just use my bow. If you get spotted, you can kiting them around until your speed increases. A bit of poison can also let you take down enemies easily, regardless of their level!
