Hey everyone! I recently got my first PS5, and during a thunderstorm, the power went out unexpectedly. When I turned it back on the next morning, I received a message saying it wasn’t turned off properly. I’m a bit worried—could this cause any major issues with my console?

You should be fine! Just a heads up though, if you’re in an area prone to storms, consider getting a surge protector. I had a PC power supply get fried by a lightning strike once, and it was a hassle to replace. Better safe than sorry!
No worries, it will be fine. Just keep an eye on it for any weird behavior, but usually, these alerts are normal after a power loss.
