Hey everyone! I’m almost finished with my PC build, but I’m feeling a bit uncertain about whether my motherboard is compatible with the rest of my components, especially the case. I’d love to know if there’s a better motherboard option out there too. Additionally, I’ve heard some mention about case fans—are those really necessary? I’m aiming to keep the total cost around $1300. Here’s my build link for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BJhYBq

Yes, your current motherboard is compatible. Just make sure to update the BIOS so it can support your CPU. As for case fans, start with the fans you have and monitor the temperatures. If they’re too high, adding more fans is a good idea.
The B650M is a good micro ATX board for your setup. It works well with your Ryzen 5 9600X, and you don’t really need extra CPU fans unless you want better cooling. If you’re looking for alternatives, there’s not much better at that price point!

I heard some people say my motherboard was bad. Were they just trolling?
