I’ve been playing Dying Light 2 on my Asus TUF Gaming A15 laptop, and I’ve noticed I’m getting around 60-70 FPS with everything set on low. I’ve previously played games like Rainbow Six Siege and Valorant without any issues, but I’m curious if my laptop can handle newer single-player games since I finished the first Dying Light at a smooth 144 FPS. Is there something wrong with my laptop, or is it just not powerful enough for Dying Light 2? I’d appreciate any insights without too much tech jargon, as I’m still learning about PC gaming. Thanks!

The first Dying Light runs easier on systems since it’s older. If your specs can’t handle the demands of the second one, that’s just how it is. Benchmarking tools might be useful for clarity on performance expectations!
Definitely check the temperatures of your CPU and GPU while gaming. Using tools like CoreTemp can help you see if overheating is a problem, which could affect performance.
Dying Light 2 is definitely more demanding than the first one and the other games you’ve played. It’s not surprising that you’re seeing lower FPS; it’s actually pretty expected given the game’s requirements. Your laptop might be handling it just fine!
I kind of thought so too! I didn’t have any major FPS issues before, but it sounds like my laptop just isn’t built for the newer titles.
Yeah, I thought the same since I got decent FPS in Cyberpunk. Didn’t expect Dying Light 2 to need more power!
