Hey everyone! I just joined the PC master race and recently finished building my own rig! It’s performing like a champ with great game performance. I have a quick question about thermal management while gaming. I’ve noticed that my GPU usage is hitting about 98-99% during gameplay, and the temps are sitting pretty low at around 60-65 degrees Celsius. Is this high usage normal? What’s a safe temperature for my PC while gaming so I don’t wreck any components? I’d appreciate any insights you’ve got!

Yeah, you want that high GPU usage! It means your other components aren’t bottlenecking it. And honestly, those temps you’re seeing are really good overall. Keep it up!
You’re totally fine! Most graphics cards operate at around 99% usage during gaming, and temperatures of 60-65 degrees Celsius are excellent. Typically, GPUs start to throttle at around 85 degrees, so you’re well within the safe zone!
If you’re using an Nvidia card, they usually start throttling at about 84 degrees, so you have a lot of headroom. You’re doing great!
That’s awesome! 60-65 degrees is a great temp, and reaching 99% GPU usage is what we all aim for. Just remember, it’s the CPU hitting 100% that you want to avoid. Congrats on your successful build!
