Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I dove into PC building, and I’d love your input on a new setup I’m considering. I chose one of the top 5 most popular parts for each component on PC Part Picker, but I’m uncertain about whether it all comes together nicely. My budget is flexible, but I’d prefer not to go over $5,000. Here are the links to my new build and my old setup for reference:

I’ve been dealing with some serious juddering issues while gaming recently, especially when trying to play a new demo with friends, so it’s definitely time for an upgrade, potentially even a fresh build altogether. Any feedback would be really appreciated!

Your build looks solid, but I suggest checking out this list: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NPDpnp](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NPDpnp). It features a better motherboard chipset and RAM that work better with AM5 setups. Plus, the 9070XT performs similarly to the 5070TI but is more budget-friendly!
Here’s a summary of the parts in your build:
– CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
– Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
– Motherboard: Asus PRIME B650-PLUS WIFI
– RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB DDR5-6400
– Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB NVME SSD
– GPU: MSI SHADOW 3X OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB
– Case: Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
– OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Home
Total Cost: $2342.58. It’s a nice setup, but remember this is an automated response and I just help compile parts lists!
One important tip: don’t buy your Windows OS from there! I found a $15 key online that works just fine. It’s a much better deal!
Great point! I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 before, and I’ve had issues upgrading to 11, so I definitely need to look into that.
I have a similar setup but went with a 14700K Intel chip instead. It runs beautifully even at max settings for demanding games like Space Marines 2. You might want to consider going Intel if you prefer it!
Thanks for the insight! I struggled with ‘Jump Ship.’ I’ve always had an Intel preference for no real reason, so I’ll look into that as well.
Thank you! I’ll definitely check that out.
