I’ve noticed that muting everyone at the start of a game really enhances my experience, making it feel more peaceful, almost as if I’m playing against bots. I avoid all the trash talk and negativity that can come up. Do any of you do the same, or do you think keeping communication open is important?

I like to stay engaged with the flow of the game. Sure, it gets chaotic, but I’ll just ping for help. If my team is falling apart, I’ll take a step back and focus on my own gameplay rather than getting caught up in their drama.
I totally get the appeal of muting everyone, but I feel like I’m missing out on team strategy. Cooperating is key sometimes, even if it means hearing a bit of whining. If I don’t communicate, I’m left out when it matters most.
I used to mute everyone too, but that hurt my behavior score! People can report you for anything these days, even if you play well, so I’ve been more selective about who I mute.
I usually leave the chat on but mute specific teammates if they start getting negative. It’s like a 90/10 thing where most players just complain, but occasionally you get a player who’s really helpful, so I try to keep them unmuted.
