I’m considering getting Minecraft for my cousin’s 12th birthday. He enjoys games like Minecraft and has FIFA already, but I heard some people say the PS4 version isn’t worth it compared to the PC version. I’m unsure whether it’s really that bad on PS4 or if he would still enjoy it. Can anyone share their thoughts?

The PS4 version is pretty solid! It might not be as good as the PC version, but it’s a fun experience. Plus, you can still enjoy crossplay with friends on PC in the Bedrock edition, which is a nice perk!

Don’t hesitate! The PS4 version supports 4-player split-screen, which is awesome for local gaming sessions. A twelve-year-old will likely love it, especially if he can play with friends!

Honestly, the PC version does have better performance and more modding options, but I have the PS4 version and I really enjoy it. If your cousin isn’t into mods, he’ll probably have a great time just playing the game as it is.
