I’ve been playing League of Legends since 2010, and I’ve never seen low elo feel this tough. It seems like two-thirds of my games have at least one player who’s ready to ‘run it down’ the moment things go south. Why are there no systems in place to flag or monitor these players? Can we implement a system similar to Dota’s low priority queue to group these players together? What are your thoughts on improving the experience in low elo?

I feel your pain, man. I’m in diamond and still see players running it down every few games. Riot really needs to address these problematic player behaviors to make the game enjoyable for everyone.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s as big of a problem as you think. I play my own game and find that sometimes I carry, other times I get carried. Just play your best and try to ignore the toxicity. You’re kind of rolling the dice each game, but that’s the nature of low elo!
But the issue isn’t just about carrying—it’s about consistent sabotage. When you have teammates undermining you, it’s not a fair dice roll!
It sounds like you’re frustrated, but improving your own gameplay might help. A lot of players in low elo have bad games because they get tilted, and that can affect your performance too. Focus on your own gameplay, and don’t let your teammates’ bad decisions drive you down. It’s annoying, but roll with it and play as best as you can!
I get your point, but it’s hard to shine when you have teammates who are actively sabotaging the game. It’s not just tilting; they’re stealing jungle camps and throwing games intentionally.
Right? It’s not just low elo; it’s a wider issue. We need better mechanisms to deal with players who disrupt the game intentionally.
