I really enjoyed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and feel like there’s more to explore in the series. I’m considering whether I should pick up the first game—what is your take on it? Is it worth the investment?

100% yes! I bought it for about $10 with all the DLC, and it was a steal. It still holds up well, plus you get deeper backstory connections that enrich the second game. It’s a must-play!
KCD1 is really excellent! The combat might feel a bit clunky since they were still perfecting it, but the story, characters, and sidequests are top-notch. KCD2 shines because it builds on that solid foundation, so playing one after the other is a treat!
For sure! KCD1 has its own charm. It’s a bit tougher, but it delivers the same humor and storytelling you’d expect. It’s definitely worth the money, especially if you loved the second game!
I’d definitely say it’s worth it! KCD1 is an incredible game, and in some ways, I think it’s even better than the second one. The pacing is a bit slower, but that just makes it feel more engaging. Plus, it often goes on sale for cheap, so keep an eye out for that!
Absolutely! I actually prefer KCD1 for its more interesting story and varied quests. The protagonist Henry feels less jaded, giving the game a lighter tone. If you take the time to get used to the gameplay quirks, you’ll really enjoy it!
