Hey everyone! I’ve been playing as a Restoration Druid for about a month now, and I’ve decided to main it for this season. So I’m still pretty new to the class. I started the season with the Keeper talents, and they’ve worked well for me so far; I’ve had no trouble in +3 dungeons. However, I noticed that top players are using the catweaving Wildstalker build. My question is: Is the Keeper Druid viable for Mythic+ dungeons at max +10? I came from playing a Monk and want to stick with a caster, and honestly, I’m not very good at catweaving. Should I start learning the Wildstalker build instead? Thanks!

You can definitely play Wildstalker and still invest in the casting talents. I’ve seen a few players on Raider.io using that setup successfully. Plus, consider speccing into the talent that lets you automatically switch to Moonkin form. There’s a reason top-tier players are using it; it generally offers the best healing and damage output. But keep in mind, when I watch videos of high keys, I can hardly stay in Cat form because I end up needing to heal almost all the time 😂
Absolutely, Keeper is viable! You may end up with slightly less HoTs than with Wildstalker, but the raw healing power of Keeper is still solid. I personally run it alongside Moonkin form for a faster playstyle.
Could you share your build? Moonkin Keeper sounds interesting and might be exactly what I’m looking for!
Windstalker generally does more healing, even if you aren’t catweaving. If you prefer not to go Cat, just swap your talents to focus on Owl-related ones instead.
I thought the best healing output came when catweaving, which is why I asked. I’m just really focused on healing right now since I’m still getting familiar with the dungeons.
Yeah, but Wildstalker is primarily for catweaving, right? Doesn’t it mostly benefit from being in Cat form?
