I’m curious about how Jedi Survivor runs on the Steam Deck now in 2025. I remember reading that the optimization was pretty poor back then, especially two years ago. Has there been any improvement since then?

From what I’ve seen, it’s tough to lock in a steady 30 FPS while playing, especially during cutscenes which are really rough since they add a lot to the experience. I’d personally skip it on the Deck if you want smooth gameplay.
For me, it runs around 30 FPS most of the time, but you will notice some drops down to 25-26 FPS here and there. I’m using CryoUtilities which has really helped stabilize the performance a lot. Much better than what I experienced a year ago! No crashes yet either, so it’s been enjoyable overall.
I played through it completely on the Steam Deck and found it manageable. It wasn’t perfect, but I didn’t have too many issues. Though, I noticed performance dipped significantly on Koboh and cutscenes were a bit of a mess.
That’s good to know! I enjoyed Fallen Order and just want to get through Survivor too. Do you think I should try lowering the settings?
