I’m considering trading my Steam Deck (512GB model) for an Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop. The laptop has an Intel i5, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, an RTX 3050 Ti with 512GB SSD. Is this a good trade?

I’d say go for it! That RTX 3050 Ti will definitely give you better performance for gaming compared to the Steam Deck. Just check whether the 3050 Ti is the 4GB or 6GB version for better context.
Yeah, but remember that the Steam Deck is portable while the laptop isn’t. If you play games on the go a lot, you might want to keep the Steam Deck. But the Nitro 5 will give you a better gaming experience overall.
