I just joined a mission through quickplay, and I helped the host evacuate citizens and take down the last two encampments. I even managed to grab a few samples before calling for extraction. But then the host kicked me, saying ‘late joiners deserve to die.’ Was he right? I mean, he did mostly do the mission solo, but I still contributed.

That host was definitely in the wrong. You joined late, sure, but you helped him out and it didn’t cost him anything. Just block that guy and move on; he’s not worth your time.
Honestly, I get annoyed when I join missions just before extraction too. It’s frustrating, and I think the matchmaking should do a better job of pairing players with ongoing missions. But you didn’t lose out—kicking you was just petty!
That host was definitely being a jerk. And since you called for extraction, you didn’t lose anything by being kicked. Just enjoy playing and forget about rude players like him!
Yeah, what a loser! You joining late should be beneficial for everyone, and you helped the mission. Don’t stress over someone so toxic. Focus on enjoying the game!
Don’t let players like that get to you! More hands on deck are always welcome, and everyone can experience coming in late sometimes. Just roll with it when you get help from others. It’s all part of the game, right?
