I’m about halfway through The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the collectibles—heart pieces, Maiamais, and everything else. It seems way more intense to go for 100% completion compared to the original game. Is it really worth trying to get everything or should I just focus on finishing the main story?

If you’re feeling stressed out, just don’t worry about getting everything. The game is totally enjoyable by just completing the main story, so there’s no pressure to collect it all if it’s not fun for you.
What helped me was taking notes on the map, especially for the Maiamais I couldn’t reach yet. After meeting Yugo and Ravio, I explored thoroughly and pinned the Maiamais locations that were under rocks or out of reach, while picking up everything else. Breaking it down like that made the whole thing less overwhelming.
It’s not super hard to get all the heart pieces and Maiamais. Just don’t stress over silly stuff like aiming for crazy time challenges with the chicken minigame. Focus on what you enjoy the most.
You might be surprised how far you get just by playing normally. I realized one day I was already about 75% done with collecting things on a save file without even trying. If you do want to aim for 100%, using guides and checklists can really help keep things organized and less stressful.
Honestly, I found 100% completion pretty doable! It was the only Zelda game I actually got every collectible in. Compared to other games, this one felt manageable once you get the hang of things.
