I’m considering snagging a PS5 Slim for 490 euros soon. With all the tech upgrades happening, I’m wondering if it’s worth the investment now, or if I should hang tight for the next-gen PS6? Would love to hear what y’all think!

Before dropping 490 euros, it might be worth checking out used options. I’ve seen PS5s going for around 350 euros at places like Cash Converters. Most of these are in pretty mint condition, and you get more bang for your buck!
I feel you! With the PS5 Pro on the scene, snagging the Pro would be a better deal than just the base model. Yet, if your current setup is solid, hang onto it. In case it crashes, then think about upgrading instead. No need to rush into something else when the PS5 Pro’s already a solid option.
Whether to choose the PS5 Slim with or without a disc drive is key! If you’ve got a stack of Blu-rays or PS4 games, go for the disc version to make use of them. But if you’re all about streaming and don’t mind the wait for a standalone disc drive, then the digital one might be all you need.
Don’t hold back! Just go ahead and get the PS5 now. No need to wait around for what might be a long time to see a new console.
Honestly, the PS5 still has a ton of life left in it! With the new variant released just a few months back, you can expect fresh games for years, kinda like how the PS4 kept going even after the PS5 dropped. I’d say jumping to a PS6 right now isn’t necessary.
