Hey everyone! I’ve had my Series S for about 3-4 years now, but it’s starting to slow down quite a bit. I’m contemplating whether I should go ahead and buy a Series X now or wait for the next generation of consoles to drop. What do you all think?

Absolutely go for the Series X! We’ve still got a good couple of years before the next consoles come out, so you’ll enjoy it for some time to come.
Honestly, it depends on your gaming habits. If you’re really into Game Pass, the Series X is awesome, but if you’re open-minded, consider getting a PS5 instead. You’ll have access to all the new Xbox titles and some great PlayStation exclusives too. I say this as a long-time Xbox fan, but just keeping it real here!
I used to have a Series S and upgraded to the digital-only Series X when it launched. I absolutely love the performance! Just keep in mind that prices have gone up recently due to tariffs—expect to pay about $100 more for the Series X than before, and the Series S hasn’t been spared either. If you’re ready to invest, I really think it’s worth upgrading.

I get what you’re saying, but I’ve never been too excited about the PS exclusives except for Sly Cooper, which I loved growing up. I primarily play on Xbox because of Game Pass and my friends. Even though I know I wouldn’t finish more games with a PS5, Game Pass has given me tons of enjoyment without breaking the bank!
