As a PC gamer who’s a big fan of the God of War and Uncharted franchises, I’m eager to play the earlier entries that aren’t available on PC. I’m also interested in trying games like LittleBigPlanet. I’m feeling nostalgic about picking up a console where games can be found at low prices. Given this, is it still worth getting a PS3, or are all the games I want available on PS4?

Definitely recommend the PS3! It’s one of the last systems where you can grab physical games that will still work without worrying about online restrictions. Plus, there are countless titles you can’t find on newer systems.
Absolutely, the PS3 is still worth getting! There are some gems exclusive to that console that never made it to other platforms. I’ve had mine since 2012, and I still enjoy gaming on it regularly.
There are indeed lost treasures on there like EA’s Tetris and plenty of other classics. It’s a great way to dive into some nostalgic gaming!
If you’re into exclusive titles and maybe hunting for trophies, then sure! But for everything else, it feels kind of outdated. I mean, is Windows 95 still worth it? Just saying!
The PS3 is actually really easy to mod! If you grab a fat model, you can play games for free after downloading PS3 ISOs. It’s a great console to hack and explore. Good luck finding the right deal!
Just be careful with mods; they can have their risks!
Totally get your point, but some classic games just aren’t available anywhere else.
