I know this might sound a bit silly, but I’m curious if I can run my new PC without a CPU cooler for a couple of days. I’ve ordered all the parts, but my CPU cooler won’t arrive for 3-4 days. I’m currently off work for 2 days and I’d like to know if it’s okay to power up the system in the meantime. If you need details about my parts, just let me know!

You won’t believe this, but someone suggested duct taping ice cubes to the CPU—definitely a no-go! Just stick with waiting for your cooler; it’s worth it.
I tried that once, and my cooler fell off even on idle. The system shut down in about 30 seconds. Better to just be patient and wait for the cooler to arrive instead.
Nope, it’s really not a good idea to run your PC without a CPU cooler, even for a few minutes. CPUs can heat up super fast, and you risk damaging your hardware. Trust me, it’s best to wait until you have that cooler installed.
