Hey everyone! I hope this isn’t too silly of a question, but I miscalculated my space, and I have a horizontal PC without an optical drive—just an HDD. It has enough space for airflow both at the front and back. Can I stand it up and use it vertically without any issues?

Not all cases are built to handle weight differently when you flip them around. While you might get away with it for a short while, doing it long-term could lead to the case warping or sagging over time.
If you have any water-cooling components, be cautious! Changing the orientation can affect how things work. It’s important to check that your AIO cooler is set up correctly with the pump positioned in the right spot. But if you don’t have water cooling, you should be good to go—just make sure the case can handle the new weight balance.
You can probably make it work. If you share a picture or tell us the model of your case, we can give you more tailored advice!
