I’ve been diving into Genshin Impact on Linux for about a week, and everything’s running smoothly. However, I can’t shake the worry that my account might get banned since I’m not on Windows. Does anyone have tips or insights on this? I’ve only recently started using Linux, so I’m still figuring things out. Right now, I’m playing through Heroic and occasionally using Lutris. Any advice would be appreciated!

I’ve been gaming on Linux for years and playing Genshin Impact without any issues. As long as you’re careful, you’ll be fine! Just focus on enjoying the game!
While there have been some bans reported for other games like Star Rail on Linux, getting banned in Genshin Impact seems pretty rare. Just be aware that the developers are aware of Linux players and could potentially block access if they wanted to.
That’s great to hear! How do you launch Genshin? I’ve been using Heroic but noticed some low FPS, so I switched to running it through Lutris directly. My only concern is launching it directly instead of from Hoyoverse launcher. Is that a risky move?
