I’ve been getting killed constantly while trying to catch that last fish I need for the Commemorative Angler achievement. Aren’t PvP zones supposed to be somewhat safe for just fishing? Or is it just a free-for-all?

Nope, not safe at all. You’re fair game for any PvP player that comes by. If you’re fishing, you’re basically just advertising yourself as an easy kill.
They really do! It’s frustrating when you just want to enjoy fishing.
Some players will target you just for fun, while others might just ignore you if they can tell you’re not there to fight. I think it helps to fish in areas that are a bit off the beaten path if you can find them!
Yes! I try to remain stealthy when fishing just to avoid being a target.
Good strategy! Sneaking makes a difference most of the time.
Honestly, fishing in PvP zones is always risky. Some players think it’s hilarious to hunt down non-combatants. If you really want to avoid conflict, it’s better to fish on less populated servers or at less busy times.
Totally! Low-pop campaigns really make it easier.
I’ve had success fishing late at night when fewer players are around.
It’s hit or miss, for sure. Usually, players leave you alone if you’re not a threat, but it really depends on who crosses your path. I’ve done a bit of fishing in Cyrodiil without much trouble, especially if you stay out of the way.
Exactly! Just pick a quiet spot and hope for the best!
Right? Most of the time, people just want to fight.
In PvP zones, you’re never really safe. Some players might let you fish in peace, but many will jump at the chance to take out an easy target. I suggest finding spots away from the main action or trying during off-peak hours.
Definitely need to pick your moments and locations carefully!
Exactly! I had some luck fishing under a bridge where I wasn’t too visible. It helped avoid the chaos.
True words, man. It’s like they have a radar for easy prey.
