I love how the world looks during the day. So much more color and beautiful views. Is there any way to make it stay daytime all of the time, essentially pause the day/night cycle?

No, the day night cycle is linked to the clock of the system and the time passing in the game is also an important part of the game itself. Many puzzles rely on things like shadows and it being night etc. So having the day/night cycle progress is an important part of the game and can’t be broken. There may be some mods and cheats that can make it happen but there is no way to make it happen using mechanics within the game.
