I recently bought Firewatch for $19 (I live in Saudi Arabia) and I really loved the game after playing it for about an hour. However, I’ve just seen that Spider-Man is on sale, and I’d like to refund Firewatch to get my $19 back. Right now I have $25 in my wallet, and I need it to go back to $44 to buy Spider-Man. I’m not really sure how to request a refund, and I’ve heard that PlayStation’s refund service is pretty bad. Can anyone help me out?

Refunding digital games on PlayStation can be tricky. Typically, if you’ve downloaded the game, Sony won’t issue a refund. I once managed to get a refund once for a bundle I bought by mistake that I hadn’t downloaded yet, so it might be worth trying, especially since you only played for an hour. Just keep in mind they might say no since you’ve already played it! Good luck!
Honestly, don’t count on getting that refund. A lot of people get stuck with their purchases because they intended to play them and then want a refund just to buy something else. Sony’s return policies are pretty strict, and customer service can be hit or miss. But I’ve heard they may allow a return per account under certain conditions. So, might as well try your luck!
Welcome to the real world! Before you buy a game, it’s smart to check for any upcoming sales, rather than hoping for a refund later. A lot of gamers have been frustrated with Sony’s customer service regarding refunds. They should really consider being more lenient with returns, especially for digital purchases. Either way, just ask them directly, as the worst they can do is say no!
