I’ve been playing a Skyblock map called Shimmerblock, which only has a small pool of shimmering water. I’m trying to collect Sea Crates, but I need to know if I can create an artificial ocean all the way to the edge of the world for fishing. Can someone help me out?

From what I know about biomes, Ocean biomes only appear at the edges of worlds. So if you place a lot of water there, it should count as an Ocean biome. Good luck trying to make it work!
You’ll need around 1000 tiles of connected water to properly simulate an ocean. I’m not sure if adding sand is necessary, but that seems to help. Give it a shot and see!
