I’ve been hardstuck at Diamond 2 and after 181 matches this season, I still haven’t reached Masters. I had some random player flame me about it, so I’m curious to know if this is common or if I’m just hitting my natural ceiling. Is it worth continuing to grind or should I take a break?

Look, some players will never hit Master. I’ve been playing since launch and only made it to Plat once. If you’re enjoying yourself, then that’s what counts. Don’t get hung up on ranks; enjoy the climb instead!
Exactly! Enjoy every match, even if you lose.
Don’t stress it! Many people are stuck at certain ranks for a long time. Just keep playing and improving your skills instead of focusing on the number of games. It’s possible to hit Masters eventually, just polish up where you need improvement instead of grinding mindlessly.
Very true! I’ve played for years and only got to Gold 1. Skill matters more than stats.
I get that. Thanks for the advice!
Honestly, it’s not bad at all! You’re just not at the Masters level yet, and that random was probably just being rude. It’s really up to you whether you want to keep grinding or take a break. If you’re feeling burnt out, maybe a little timeout could help! But remember, it’s definitely possible for you to hit Masters with some more dedication.
Exactly! Just focus on enjoying the game. If you keep trying, you’ll eventually get there.
Thanks for the support! I might just take a little break and come back fresh.
It’s totally fine not to hit Masters right away. Many still enjoy the game regardless of their rank, and some players never reach Masters, and that’s cool too. Just focus on having fun and improving your game play at your own pace!
Part of me thinks the journey is more important than the actual rank!
