I’m a first-time PC owner and I’ve got about seven fans running in my setup. When I play games like Baldur’s Gate 3, the fans get pretty loud. The performance is great, but I’m concerned about whether this is normal or if it might damage my PC in the long run. Any tips on managing the noise?

If the fans are loud but your PC isn’t overheating, it’s usually not something to worry about. You can head into your BIOS and set your case fans to a static 45% speed for decent airflow with much less noise. For the CPU, a 50% RPM fan curve is a good compromise between cooling and quiet operation.

Loud fans aren’t necessarily a bad sign. As long as you’re not experiencing overheating issues, you should be fine. Just keep an eye on your temperatures while gaming!
