Hey everyone, I’ve been attempting this expert rushdown mission in Lightfall, and I keep running into the same frustrating issue. In the third encounter, where we need to destroy this suppression thing amidst the two tanks, players keep dropping out of the run. It seems like it’s often the ones who might not be doing their fair share in terms of damage or following mechanics. While I get that not everyone is at the same skill level, it really irks me when someone leaves simply because it feels ‘too hard.’ I’d rather team up with someone who’s trying, even if they die a few times, instead of dealing with people who just bounce out and waste my time. What do you think?

If it’s matchmade, I think it’s okay to leave without explanation. If you want to avoid all the hassle, forming your own fireteam might just save you from these situations.
You’ve got Revive Tokens for a reason. Would you really want to lose all of them just because someone is struggling but holds on out of pride? Sometimes, you gotta think about the team dynamic.
If I see them trying and putting in the effort, I don’t mind if they cost us a few tokens.
Some players could be leaving because they’re aiming for a flawless clear triumph. That part has some rough enemy attacks that can one-shot you.
I doubt that’s the case when they bail right after we’ve reset a couple of times!
When you join a Looking For Group (LFG), there’s an expectation you’re there to finish the activity unless stated otherwise. However, if you’re matchmade, then folks can’t really hold high expectations for teamwork. That said, it’s a two-way street—you shouldn’t expect to get a perfect squad in matchmaking either. If it’s a recurring issue, maybe consider sticking with LFG to find dedicated players.
I’ve tried both ways, and it still happens, especially in that challenging part.
Do you not think about time commitment? It’s frustrating when you can only play for a short while and people keep leaving!
